Starting over as we’re now allowed to used 209 primers. Have been using 110gr 777, Harvester green high pressure sabots with their white scorpion 300gr 50cal bullet, with a RWS musket cap.

What’s your preference….?

Took the Knight UL out to the range today to work on 3-shot load groupings with BH-209 at 90gr, 95gr, 100gr, 105gr, and 110gr. All shots were at 100 yards using Harvester green sabots with their 300gr, .50 cal white Scorpion bullet. Used CCI 209 primers, but they seemed to get jammed in the bolt after firing.

Gun seems to really like 100gr with that load. Used to shoot 777 but never got that consistancy with musket caps.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?

100 grains T777 or BH209, 240 Grain LeHigh Defense in a MMP 24 sabot. Win 209. The 340 grain ELDX are super accurate but they fit loose in my barrel and I have had miss fires with them. I have used a felt wad behind them with no problems. This is a 3 shot group at 100 yards.
