I really don't get the love for the nuisance bird. All they do is shit on your doorstep and eat the cat food. Oh i forgot they fight themselves in your window. But they are fun to scare off of the cliff and watch glide.

I love turkeys. Fascinating animals. Fun to watch and hear.

We have a lot of that down here for turkey. Min of 3-4 yrs to hunt deer an hour from home.

I have an 86 yr old father and there are 4 of us applying for duck hunts. 7 applications (x4) and nothing.

We are losing opportunity to hunt and it sucks!

Missouri went to a single bird for non resident and raised the price, very few non resident killed two birds anyway they have the data! I may boycott MO?

Turkeys in many places are on a serious decline, hen survival and poult recruitment are way down!

Predators, habitat quality and loss are two major factors, however there are many things contributing including disease.

Many states have now made it difficult for non resident and lowered limits across the board.

The USFS decimated the forest up by me, no ground cover for nesting. G&F has been transplanting some, but the numbers are low. Have not drawn in over a decade. Tags are way down, but that is probably good? Sounds like Oregon and Washington are being invaded.
