Lately I’ve seen a number of heavy duty stainless wok - what’s up with that?

I'm still using the 14" carbon steel wok I bought just out of college.

During the pandemic, I overpaid for one of these, but it's been awesome out on the deck. When we remodel the kitchen, I'm getting a proper hood.
