Hey, I’m looking at getting a pup towards the end of March and was wondering if you guys could recommend some yellow lab breeders. Looking for a female American yellow. I live in AZ and have spoken to some breeders, but they won’t have anything available until next year.

We breed Goldens and they are always sold out before they are even bred. Good breeders usually have a waiting list, sometimes for over a year or even more.

Do you want a hunter or a family pet?

Kelleygreen kennels in Nevada is one of the best kennels in the country. Don't know if they have any pups available. I have had two of their labs. They are big, blocky english labs.

Amy stobart, on FB she has a group called lab pup 4 U. I have one of her females that is now 2 years old. She is the best lab i have owned, well tempered and really birdy. She is bred from pointing lab stock and i use her for waterfowl and upland with great results.

I've hunted over a couple of excellent labs from here......................
Tiger Mountain Pointing Labs

I'm a huge believer that any hunting pup should be brought home in early spring. That way come hunting season they are physically up to a full day of hunting but still young enough that they look to the pack owner (you) for direction.

Good Luck!
