Obviously we know why this law exists & it always drove me a little nuts, but sadly I'm guessing there will be more coming in the west that is going to limit opportunity, or greatly increase the cost to the DIY hunter.......especially Wyoming.

I tend to chuckle a bit as the state of California and Texas are relocating to ID, MT & Wyoming yet reading rule proposals one may think it's the DIY non resident hunters that are the biggest factor in the demise of hunting in those states.

I would bet a savvy attorney could piece together some statistics and show having a guide doesn’t make you any safer. Folks getting chewed on guided hunts fairly regularly.

Also tons of hikers bikers fishermen and I’d bet their outcomes aren’t any worse than guided hunters.
