Bob, HUGE difference between drawing a NR tag and using an outfitter vs. buying a set aside tag from an outfitter/landowner.

Once the 90/10 goes thru, NR opportunities will continue to erode. You will be paying $5-10000 for those outfitter welfare tags within 3 years.

I’ve been saving my WY elk points to hunt with my son when he gets done with college. We average 11 points; I should be able to get a general tag with that in a couple more years.

Do all of the resident licenses sell out each year? Is that the need for the increase in percentage? Or are they just tired of non resident hunters? Either way the people of Wyoming should choose what is best for them.

All WY residents can buy a general tag if they don't draw limited entry. It's more about trophy hunting than simple opportunities.
