Wyoming non-res point question

My friend and I are looking to buy a preference point in Wyoming. I know that the dates to buy points are later in the year but I was wondering if you have to apply for a license to get a point. I know the deadline to apply is February 1st and wanted to make sure I didn’t need the license to get a point only later on in the year. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for this info. So if I’m reading right, if we are just buying a non-res PP for elk during PP only period, we are just on the hook for the $52 fee? Any other costs?

Nope that’s it besides possibly a small fee like processing but can’t remember if Wyoming does that.

All it takes is 60 bucks and you to can be one of the 125k NRs with elk PP in the WY system. Good Luck!
