I’m anything but a trust fund baby and I’ve got 50k of hunts booked over the next 3 years and deposits paid for 27/28.

If you want guided, ya get in line and go with the flow.

Diy, then pick your spot and go when you can draw.

Then hunt in sept....... and most of what I see killed are the unfortunately the first decent framed 4X4 or 3X3....like I said if kind of crazy your going to fork over that kind of cash to shoot the first 4 year old mule deer you see.

If thats what you'd accept ....just do it yourself it's not like you waiting on a 190 anyway

I don't think our "American Hunting Heritage" is based on being able to go on guided hunts.....

You can still hunt a ton all over the US for very low costs.

You’re upset because you can’t afford (or don’t want to pay) for these guided hunts. That’s fine, but if others can, that’s fine too.

I think our rational comments will fall on deaf ears guys. I gave him a hint to a solution early in the thread. There are 3-4k guided mule deer hunts, with reputable outfitters, available for 2026/2027. That is pretty dang reasonable in todays standards.
