With some luck I hope to scout this summer but I'd like to know any places to start or to avoid I don't mean this to sound like I'm wanting people's spots just some general areas to look at or one not to waste my time at edit: it would be for firearms season

my limited experience up there in october it was snowy up at higher elevations so we had to move down to lower elevations to find deer, so i'd recommend keeping an eye on the weather and snow depth

did you see good numbers of deer I'm not looking for a boone and Crockett buck just a buck the area looked like a good area for a first time mule deer hunter I'll have 2 preference points so if you could point me to a unit where a guy with low points has a chance to see deer I'd love to know about it
