Wyoming elk outfitter recomendations

I hunted with Powder Horn Outfitters several years ago and they were very good. I shot a nice 332” Bull with my bow.
Nice accommodations, good food, guides are helpful.
The only thing is, with archery gear, it is mostly a waterhole hunt.

Hunt turned out excellent. As listed in the post above, everything was first class. As far as the hunting went, I tagged out first day, 2 the second day (A third could have tagged out but missed), and 1 the third day. Unfortunately the last guy in our group was holding out for a monster that never showed back up so he did not fill his tag. Field dressing, meat pack out etc were all done as a team making it extremely easy. A meat processor was close by in town for the processing as well. All in all I was very happy with my experience.

Thanks a bunch for the information. I’m currently sitting with 10 points. I am nervous to burn up that many points on a DIY hunt but finding a good outfitter that provides good shot opportunities and has a reputable camp can be a challenge as well. I appreciate your response

With that many points Id go for their "Limited" tag areas. Its supposed to hold much larger bulls. I believe it was 13-15 points for those areas, but id call and confirm.
