Wyoming combo Muley / Antelope hunt recommendations

I’m looking for recommendations for a ranch or outfitter that offers a decent mule deer and antelope combo hunt for 2026. I currently have 4 preference points for each animal. I know the vast majority of you are wilderness/ backpack hunters. Well,I’m just not there anymore, at 71 with a bone on bone knee and a kidney transplant last year, but I can still get around decently, just slower. So I’m in the process of seeing what kind of hunt I can put together and I thought folks on here may have some recommendations on who to talk to and who to avoid. Thank you.

Same age as you. In 2021 I hunted mulies with Craig Oceanac of Timberline Outfitters in the Shirley Mtns of Wy. 2 pts needed for mulies, 5 for pronghorn, 12 for elk. Very nice camp, most travel via SxS. I got a 4x4, others got deer but not as nice (lucky me). Don't expect a big mulie but a good camp and good guides. One guy had a pronghorn tag and got a decent one in a single afternoon of hunting. Remote camp but accessible via truck. They also offer ranch hunts for mulies.

Triple 3 Outfitters out of Buffalo. Private land hunting. Timberline Outfitters hunts public land. Big difference so take your pick. At your age and with how difficult it is becoming to get licenses, I would choose the private land hunt. Phil Rutt is the owner. Great guy and VERY good hunting for antelope, deer and elk. Waiting list for elk hunts.

I agree with Indian Summer about choosing an outfitter with "managed" private land. Now if he's killing everything that moves, it will be no better than public.
I'm experiencing this in Wyoming concerning elk. I have a contact in the East region that may have a private land opportunity but I'm hesitant to burn my points and then it not work out.
I found what I think is a great private land hunt in the West region and can likely draw this year, but it's pricey.
Think I'm going that way and hopefully get a nice bull under my belt, then due the East region thing with lesser points and less pressure to kill something.

I’ve been in Craig’s camp up the the Shirley Loop Rd. We are both from Pennsylvania as is Phil with Triple Three. Small world. In his area you can do great for antelope on the tons of BLM land. For deer I’d want to be on the private although we did take a couple nice bucks over the hill south of his camp on public. It borders the Ellis Ranch which has great hunting.

Call TJ Tavegie at Bear Track Outfitters in Buffalo. Have hunted with them several times and they are very accommodating for a less mobile hunter.

A couple of us hunted w these guys in 2023. Had a nice antelope hunt. Saw some decent muleys and 2 guys we were in camp with got nice bulls.

Practice shooting to 400-500 yards just in case.

I was the deaf guy. We shot our antelope on Oct 9. Fished the 10th at a reservoir and i think left on the 11th before a storm.

The guy who never hunted shot his elk on 10th i think.

Same, we left early and drove down to Casper to try to beat the storm, Casper flights were delayed and we drove on down to Denver to get out.

If you were by a reservoir, was that on Gammons? Grab lunch at the Arvada bar???
