Wyo bear

Went and checked the bait yesterday. Looks like we have 2+ bears hitting the bait. One comes in at 8:50, and the other at 3am. Here are some pics from the trail cam.

Good luck. My bait usually gets cranking about the 17th of may. I put it in yesterday so it will be a little later this year

Pictures getting me excited. Put bait out a week ago, nothing hitting yet. Seems like it takes about this long for them to start hitting. Good luck on that big bear.

We went an checked the bait on Wednesday and sat till dark but nothing came in. To our surprise the following picture was on our camera. I will let you guys be the judge of him. We have 5 bears hitting the bait now but sadly they are all at night. Let me know how big you think he is. Also the camera is in the same place as the two pictures already posted.

Nice bear, hard to tell if sow or boar from that picture. Fun when you have multiple bears hitting.

I will post another picture. You can tell its a boar. But we won't know until he comes in but not sure if that will happen. He won't come in during light. We say until dark last night and nothing came in again.

Well last night I pulled back and shot my first bear with a bow.

congrats on the bear, it looks like a good one. So far I have only gotten crows and a moose on my baits in Wyo.

Thanks! He is a good sized one. Bigger than last years. The crows are usually what help bring the bears in. We once had a half dozen elk browse right around our bait haha

Very cool. That is terrific. that is one thing I want to try. I think this year I am going to work on finding a place close to Laramie and see what I have to do to get in there. Would love to get a bear.

Crumy, my buddy had a bait site up there and there were still a few sites available. He had to walk in a mile or two but not too bad.
