Wyo bear hunters

Going to go poke around with the bow next week,my question is regarding bait site locations. I dont want to end up hunting near someone's site,is there anyway to find out bait site locations ahead of time?

If you are going to hunt bears near Sheridan on the Bighorn National Forest it will be rather difficult to not be in the neighborhood of someones bait site. The game and fish office in Sheridan has a Forest Map with the square mile (sections) marked that people have chosen for bear bait areas.

Snow is crazy deep still. Roughest 4 days I can remember. Here it is a week later, legs still hurt. Postive note, found some pretty good sheds, elk, moose.

oh boy, im getting excited now. would be neat to find an elk shed while im out in a few weeks. i just hope where im planning on being pays off.

I hope it's below 8700 and south or east facing. Depending on where you're going, you may be up to your waist in snow if not.

The temps remain cool up in WY and I'm not sure what if kind of melt we can expect in the next weeks. Last week, roads we broke open melted quick once busted but we post holed for 10s of miles.

Was up around 7200 last weekend,south slopes are clear and dry,north slopes were still covered,waist deep in most drainages.
