i was on the first rifle hunt and it was fantastic. A true trip of a lifetime. Everyone either killed or had an opportunity to do so. The weather was a little warmer than normal which probably slowed rutting activity. Their horses and mules were top shelf. I was impressed with the entire operation. Do not, however, expect to see elk behind every tree. This is big country and you will cover a lot of ground. It is a very physically demanding. You will ride horses a lot and hike a lot. Taking some riding lessons will definitely help but nothing can prepare you for the 30 mile ride into and out of camp. This is a pic of the bull I killed. How did the hunt go? Can you give details on your experience with them?
