If you’re hunting WY, download OnX. It will tell you exact boundaries for public vs. private land. If you want to know penalties for trespass etc., call WY Fish and Game. They are always helpful.
That's not what he is asking. He is asking where he can find a landowner to pay for access.

Exact boundaries? Not a chance.

I just spent 2 weeks in Wyo roaming all over the place and you wouldn’t believe how far off OnX is (according to fences).

And before you defend OnX, what boundary do you think a rancher is going to go with?
OnX or a fence that’s been there for decades.

One or both can be wrong.

Fences that are decades old in Wyoming are the property boundary unless the 2 LOs have an agreement.
They build where it is easiest, not necessarily at the boundary and usually accept the new boundary wiothout a survey.
Had a neighboring ranch go to lots for sale, they tries to sell lots on the other side of the fence. Didn't take long for those lot owners to find out they did not in fact own land they were sold on the wrong side of the fence. The land company had to make them right, not the adjacent LO they thought they could sue.
GW and sheriffs know this in Wyoming.
