Previous years I’ve baited for bears and had some decent success, moved to an area with a lot bigger terrain and more glassing opportunities and am wanting to try to spend some time focusing on spot & stalk hunting instead of baiting this spring. I’ve read and watched quite a bit and know the basic knowledge of finding areas with green grass and following the snow line up in elevation as the season progresses, good sense of smell bad eyesight, etc…but am curious of additional and/or less talked about tips, tricks, and tactics for locating and making moves on bears…especially considering the insane snow pack we have this spring.
