I was able to draw Doe/Fawn tags for units 80 and 81...Although I am looking forward to the potential of getting out there, I'm reading more and more about how hard antelope were hit in WY by the winter conditions. Any one have insight to the herd/population health in those areas. As much as I'd love to hunt those tags, would it be more responsible to give them a break this year, especially the doe and fawn?
Find the reduction info and see how your unit fared. They got hit hard innsome areas.

Had some good storms last evening in parts of the state. Hoping the hail didn't get a big portion of the fawn crop so far.
Pronghorn can't seem to catch a break it seems.

Struck out with 4 points in an eastern area which was over the counter 5 years ago. Used to go every year. We hunted prairie dogs there this year, saw as many antelope as we used to. I guess I'm glad I got in on some of the hunting in WY/MT but wish I could have shared it with my son.

Rich, how many points did you burn if it's a buck tag?
It was 4 points. Got a nice buck. Forget what unit - was just east of the Bighorns, we could see em in the backdrop.

I have to decide if I want to do that again, if I do, have like 9-10 years to go and will collect points til then. Have to buy the points tho and haven't done so yet.
