I just downsized my spotter, so looking to downsize my tripod head as well, as I won’t need this for my new Kowa 554.

This is an AMAZING head. For an 85 or 95mm spotter it’s tough to beat. I bought this new and am the original owner.

Comes with soft case and 2 Sirui TY-70A plates for attaching to your binos and spotter, camera, etc. these are $30/plate new.

Would like $150 TYD for the head and both QR plates.

What does it weight? Is the handle removable?

I believe the head is 1lb 4oz. Which is pretty small and light for a fluid head, but probably a little overkill for the 55mm Kowa. Probably most useful for 65mm spotters and up.

Honestly I’m not sure, I’ve never tried to take it off. And I’m traveling for the holidays so I cant check sorry. Just curious why are wanting to remove it? It folds flat to the tripod when you tilt the head and lock it so it’s not a pack ability issue

I run mine 10x binos and 50mm scope, also use it for a rifle rest. I love the head.

Thanks for the team answer guys. To save a quick 5oz on my promaster head, I pulled the handle off, chopped 95% of it, and then used an arrow shift to replace what I cut off. Looks like a burly handle, so I am contemplating buying and trying the same.

Best, smoothest head I’ve used to date! Whoever buys it will be very happy with it.

Yes but already have several offers. Waiting to hear back about an outdoorsmans head offer before I close it out
