I have for sale a Remington Model 7 KS 7mm-08. This rifle is in great condition. I purchased this from another member on here. It has sat in my safe for awhile and I just have too many hunting rifles, so I would rather someone use this as it was intended. I will probably regret selling this.

Barrel is magna-ported. Comes with a EGW 20 MOA rail. Rifle is very light.

Yeah it is a nice, light and handy rifle. I can’t keep it in the safe any longer, someone needs to take it out and use it.

I believe it is a Brown Precision stock. Weighs in at a total of 23.3oz.

Looks like an early Brown stock that's been painted. Nice rifle but looks like a standard model 7 barreled action in a KS stock. KS barrel would only have caliber hand stamped and proof marks... not the standard stamping with Remington address and warning.

Agree with Jpterry. My KS which I ordered new and everyone I've seen since then does not have the stamping on the barrel.

Good catch, and you guys are correct.

An email to Remington with the serial # used to get me an almost immediate response by them with exact information on the rifle... not so sure anymore how that works though.

I believe you are correct. Sorry for the confusion. I believe it is a Remington Model 7 FS.

Both the 7fs and 7ks are hard to find guns. No matter which one someone buys this thinking to be, there getting a awesome gun!!

I have a few of the Model 7 FS's in my safe. If this is a FS, it has the stock replaced and painted and the barrel has been ported. FS's do not have the rounded bottom on the stock, only the KS's did. Still a nice gun.

Not an FS. FS has front and rear sights. Typically 18.5” barrel. Only made in a 2 year run. That’s not an FS stock even if it was painted. Here are pictures of an unmolested FS. The stock pad is Remington branded. Not decelerator.

I would say it's a basic Model 7 with a replaced stock and some port work done.
