I’ve read a lot about the Wrangler pants and how they’re great for the value. I bought some a few years ago and they were not very impressive. However, I may have bought the wrong versions. When I go to the website now and see the Wrangler ATG, there are three different styles - Cliff Side Utility, Jackson Utility and Windward Utility. Please let me know what styles people have had the best success with, and I will give them another try.

Cliff Side Utility are the ones that I use. Good for the price and work well in warmer environments as well. A little bit of pilling after some good use but still very usable for the woods and waters. If you watch Target sometimes has them on sale for around $28.

I just got a pair of Cliffside and a pair of Jackson's. The Cliffside is super comfy and light wieght. The Jackson is heavier, almost a light denim with stretch. Double knees, with small stitching that really helps how the double knee acts when kneeling or standing. The front pockets are small and hard to get your hands in and out because they sit very close to your belt. Not as comfortable as the Cliffside, but would work well going through brush.
