Would you buy this scope?

As for testing scopes, every scope will be tested in a collimator before it ships to the customer.

We would then test each one individually on the collimator as it arrives to Idaho and ship to you in order.

Could somebody explain the collimator testing to us? What are you testing for? Correct tracking, reticle dimensions, parallax shift?

I would also like to learn more about the collimator testing. What would the testing catch on one scope that it wouldn’t catch on all 500 of them?

You mean a 3-18x version of this scope they’ve had out for quite a while? Mil reticle was recently added, but they’ve had a MOA variant for several years now.

This is a field evaluation of the Revic 5-25x50mm scope. This scope was sent to Ryan Avery for an evaluation.


The scope:

35.1oz



Turrets:

.25 MOA per click, 25 MOA per revolution, revolution indicated, with a zero stop.



Windage is capped, and revolution indicated.



Elevation turret has quite a bit going on. It is a multi ringed affair, and tool-less accept for the zero stop.



Starting with the zero stop. It is a common “pin on pin” design.


Then the large main turret slides over it and is...

the 3-18 is a touch heavy but the 525 actually passed the drop test with a nice reticle so I welcome it, better than most scopes

For some people the reticle may be easier to get behind than the Thlr, less foreign and still a good option compared to tiny target reticles

Anyone care to take over my place in line from the first batch of orders? 2 THLR’s. Preferably both going to the same person to keep it simple.

I’m basically just content with my current setups and don’t feel like forking out $2k in the middle of hunting season anymore, when I’ll already be poor lol.

Yesterday morning I was calling coyotes in woods. Later in the day in 300 yard ag fields. Light rifle with a 6x S&B PMII with mildot/P3. I love that scope but I was thinking how nice a fit the 2-8/1.5-9/etc with the THLR would be for this.
