Would you buy this scope?

Anybody else see this from Sig and think it's an attempt at a copy or to get some of the market?

I saw that too. Awfully similar. Especially superficially. Wonder if it’s got the same later-gen erector system that enabled the S2H? I’d imagine? Agree that I overall like the #4-esque reticle, but it suffers from the same too-much-hashmark problem that most of the market does.

I just know some retard is going to take one of these new scopes and Gronk spike it straight onto concrete to “prove” it loses zero. Love the warranty, but I hope S2H and ZT tell them to eat a bag of dicks when they come asking for a replacement or refund.

It will be interesting to see what competitors do assuming this scope becomes as popular as we all think it will be. We’re all getting a lot of value for the money currently. I just can’t picture NF adopting a similar reticle and being competitive on price. They tend to be on the higher end of the spectrum. The long term picture is also a bit crazy, because once all these scope companies move out old inventory and adjust their scopes in the next couple of years to not not lose zero, there’s going to be a LOT of options on the market for hunters.

I will say, per the scope podcast at Hunt Expo, I am highly curious to see what scope they release next year. I know the 2-8 has a lot of interest and should be considerably lighter, but it sounded like that’s a couple of years out so they could build it correctly from the ground up. Not sure what other direction they would go though.

MOA reticle, despite Ryan and Form's protest.
