Would you buy this scope?

Actual date in hands of the consumer?
We want to get this right just as bad as everyone else. We are trusting @Formidilosus to handle the test and let us know when it has his stamp of approval. And from everything we have seen so far we are trending good. Once the test is completed it is a 6 month lead time from the factory and as some have mentioned, shipping and customs can add some time to that. We would LOVE for it to be ready for fall hunting season. Myself, I am dying to run one this fall. But it all comes back to doing it right. We trust form to tell us when it's good and from there we can only do so much. Assuming all goes well, which we expect, the original estimates of Sept-Jan sound good but that's with no hiccups so take it with a grain of salt.

@ZeroTech Optics

Maybe start a new thread for Q and A for the scope in its current state with a list of what you know to be definite and what is coming?

Update that post when more info comes in and field questions in the same spot???
This is exactly why some people can make millions marketing things online and some can't. Unfortunately I'm not cut out for it. We literally have two separate threads going for this scope in its current state and nothing has been said to be definitely coming. At least not soon enough to be ordering. Yes a smaller one was mentioned but this one isn't even out yet...lol The scope in discussion was said to be 6 plus months out at best. Again all the updates are already going on in the thread for this specific scope.

We’re getting some real numbers on a real scope from what seems to be an actual representative of the company that helped bring it to market and they start fresh on page 173??

Just seemed odd to me.

But, it seems as though I’m in the minority here. Maybe next time

I think it's already discussed but new threads are probably only going to make things more confusing. @Formidilosus will update regularly with test results here and as for launches, educational content, specs etc all of that will be available on our website, social media channels, mailing list etc as well as Shoot2Hunts channels and website as well. Right now the only information in question is pass or fail, the rest (barring any NEED for changes due to a fail) is set from a spec standpoint. It's current state is the finished state as mentioned before, barring of course failure. What you are seeing is what you will be purchasing once the test is complete and the scopes ship.

My thought was a thread for the actual scope, not the theoretical scope.

And it sounds like I was very wrong. 😁

Do you have specs on eye relief and FOV at minimum and maximum magnification?

No worries! Ultimately we'll leave that to the Rokslide guys but we will be here monitoring and trying to provide relevant information. I will be traveling up to film some drop testing and we will make a couple podcasts while we are up there that give the full story on how the relationship, the scope, and everything came to be. We may even do a little wishful thinking and muse about what the future may hold

Thanks for the partnership. As others have said, once we get this one in the books late this year, we would love to see a product roadmap in the future to round out the product line.

Many have mentioned the 6x (since SWFA is irregular production lines), a 1-6 or 8, a 2-10 or 12. I'd personally love to see a 50 or 56mm version that we can use for NRL Hunter/PRS stuff.

@ZeroTech Optics out of curiosity, does your new elevation turret with the quick adjust yardage dials work on this scope? Not a huge factor, but might be interesting to try out if doesn’t add too much bulk.

We're excited! But just to clear the air, there is no official road map or anything at the moment. We have all thrown some ideas around and we have seen the numerous mentions on here for the 2-8s and SFWA clones but once again, there is no official road map for ANY additional products at this point.

We all think it is highly likely we work together on several projects in the future but for now we are focused on what's in front of us and delivering on the promises made. Anything more at this time and we risk getting distracted and missing the mark

This project has been a big behind the scenes secret as everyone here knows and we weren't "publicly" revealed until after SHOT. Follow up to SHOT comes with loads of other responsibilities. A full product schedule for this year, small team, and loads of follow up from SHOT means I (ZT's marketing guy) have only just been able to hop on here and start tackling some answers. Don't worry you will be seeing plenty of my ugly mug in launch content
