The SWFA 3-9x is a great scope for what you want. Yes, maybe the S2H scope will be “better”, but for your specific uses, I would get the 3-9x and then later get another scope if you want. The SWFA will sell easily enough.

Appreciate the advice Form, I’ll still keep tabs on the project. Honestly. Might buy both. Sell the one I don’t like. Look forward to any future projects. I’d definitely throw some money at S2H for a 2-8

Not 100% decided yet. They are going to get a lot of use very quickly, and we’ll know if there’s an issue. With what is inside these things, I highly doubt that there will be. They are not $1,000 scopes inside. They have what according to LOW is the most durable erector system and components they can make in a scope like this.

I could be wrong, and I'm sure not everyone will agree, but I think expecting to have this scope on a September hunt is extremely optimistic. I think Form said once the order is placed the manufacturer will take 6 months. So that's end of July if S2H ordered a first run today, and I don't think it's unreasonable to believe they won't be doing that for another month or two at least.

Given the swfa business model, you'll probably be able to get the s2h scope before they come back in stock on the 3-9.
