No. It’s not. The ZS may have similarities- but the S2H is not made off the LRHS scope design.
I’m saying that because it has been theorized multiple times. That actually was the system we looked at first, but that design is not available and we were told that it was old, and not as good as newer designs, and not nearly what this final design is.

I have a LRHS and a LRHS2, this looks shorter and is laid out different.

More free advice to @S2H guys: Don't do it for free. It doesn't do any of us cheapskates a bit of good if you lose your ass because of this and you're not around to provide support and further innovate. The consumer will forget about a couple extra bucks for a good product with excellent service. He will not forget about lack of replacements because they all got sold on clearance because there's a cash flow issue.

For those two scope it’s been a couple hundred miles in the truck, and about 20 miles on the rough forest service road since being zeroed.


Zeroed 6UM with 4-16x ATACR after swapping stock. First two went pretty high, adjusted, 3 shots low left, final adjustment-3 shots.




Zeroed 6x45mm with S2H scope. Adjusted up .2, right .1, and slipped turret.




Check POI with 107gr TMK-





Then trued all of them at 805 yards. 2-4 MPH winds. All trued perfect using Sierra stated BC’s- except the 6UM was high .2 mils, and the 223 with 88gr was low .4 mils. The 223 was clearly reduced BC due to the low MV and 8” twist.

Today, setting sun, pretty nasty flare conditions.



Pictures are pretty good representation of what was seen- the NF 4-16x ATACR was maybe 10% better in real life than the pictures show, and is also old. It is one of the first that they made. The S2H is very close to what it was in real life- it might have been 5% worse than the pictures. An obvious and noticeable difference.

When not looking at the sun, the images between them were similar- sometimes it seems the NF was better, sometimes the S2H seemed better. But, for whatever reason, the S2H controlled glare noticeably better.
