Would you buy this scope?

I think a prepay like the LH tikka .223 deal would be a good way to do it for the first batch. Nonrefundable. You would then know the baseline amount to order and decide how many extra you want to get right away. I'd buy 2 to start.

My best guess on demand --- one for everyone who has commented or liked a post on this thread. Some people will want multiples and others don't want any. This is a terrible group to gauge real world demand. What this scope is is intended to do is what most people think their existing scopes will already do until they have a failure. Outside of this group, sales are going to be hard to gauge because your sales pitch is that most of the scopes out there, including ones that sell well, will let you down.

Good luck.

I’ll take a couple. $100 non refundable deposit is the way. We don’t have to part with a grand to get in line and yall will get a realistic idea of how many serious buyers there are.

I want to emphasize that these scopes, priced at $999, represent an incredible value. Our profit margins on these products are quite slim. If another retailer were to sell them, the price would likely be $1,800 or more.

This isn't a sales pitch or an attempt to hype things up. You all in this thread are the inner circle and understand the goals we are trying to achieve.

I know you can’t commit to anything until you get it rolling, but is there any consideration of an MOA reticle? I’m stuck in that ecosystem.

I usually only lurk... Or maybe always... Until now. I'm in for the $100 nonrefundable deposit. Guessing there are others like me. Was going to get a NF SHV for the fall hunt but I'd rather have this. Totally in now.

I’ll commit to one today or any time you’re ready.

Most people, even most Roksliders I’d bet, aren’t wanting this scope to replace a ZP5 or ATACR or Trijicon. We’re adding a scope or replacing SFP or MOA scopes because we either don’t have a high end scope or don’t have enough of them. If it holds zero and returns to zero, even if it’s not exactly perfect, it’s still way better than our Vortex or VX or whatever else we were going to buy for $999. Every other company makes improvements over time. So can you if you decide it’s needed.

Is it a foregone conclusion that the first batch has to be “limited” or “small” or “inner circle”?

I’m going to buy one if given the opportunity.

Balls.

No way I’m letting my ex wife back in. Been there done that and it doesn’t end well! I’d throw $100 down on a deposit tho.

Oh. And if you are limiting a batch and gauging off of those in this thread, timing it out to hit hunting season makes no difference. As if our rifles are cleaned and put away in January and don’t come out again until September.

Trust their process.
What he said.

(Although you guys with your $100 deposits ... I'll put down $1000 non-refundable. But I guess that would constitute a pre-order which I'd previously advised against ... so I'll just take my own advice and shut up and let the guys get on with it. :) )
