Would you buy this scope?

Lets stop arguing and just get the version we all really want?
That would look great on "Pink Panther"... Yes that is my rifle. Yes I purchased a pink stock on purpose. If you're going to shoot a "girls" caliber (it is a 223 Howa Mini Action) might as well look the part... 😏 I've had more people and especially younger kids want to shoot my pink rifle than anything we bring to our family range days. Really breaks the ice. Little kids ting'n steel at 300 yards is a good thing. I've had people from 5 to 85 behind the trigger and all comments included some form of "that is fun to shoot".

That's funny, I just sponge painted a stock last week in "cool' camo and kind of wish I did purple and blue instead. Oh well guess I have to get another rifle for that.

Just got a leaked image of the limited edition version........

I need a scope to be-
1.Reliable
2. Pleasant to look through
3. Be usable (Reticle, enough adjustment, good zero stop, turrets have the correct tension/pressure on clicks, a tube that’s easy to mount on different actions, good zoom range/correct obj size, etc) I think 3-18x44 is about right for me. I could go 44 or 50, I like both for hunting/low light shooting and I don’t need it to be less than 3x and 18x is better than my maven 15x for getting a perfect zero, grouping, etc even though I do pretty well on 15x but do wish I had a little more. As long as it doesn’t hurt it optically much…
4. Be reasonable weight for hunting depending on its use
5. Aesthetically pleasant. I’m not going to run a scope that looks like garbage on my $6000 custom rifle that looks as good as it shoots. There’s other scopes that do this for more money that I’m willing to spend if these look like garbage. It’s not the most important to me, but it is on the list. I hope the S2H isn’t huge and screaming look at me and it’s just a black scope that goes good on almost anything…

Looks cool. Can’t wait for transparent results from drop test and other testing. Agree on minimizing branding.

Shoot 2 Hunt I think is more than fair to advertise.

But S2H in small font in a somewhat obscure location would drive better marketing imo.

Those on Rokslide are in the know. It’s a code, creed and a step up in knowledge and execution - to be coveted and guarded.

The mystique to those not in the know outside of rokslide will want to know. A teaser in the preface of the instructions eludes to the inspiration of Shoot 2 Hunt…

Ryan, buy a bigger server 🤪

The scope company or marketing entity will need to insure any outlets outside of rokslide/um/s2h umbrella are ACTUALLY trained with a few core foundations of the inspiration and what website to gain more information.

I would think a manufacturer would die to have a legitimate story of inspiration to hail these very new features and no compromise on the core goal of a scope.

Im in the crowd of no logo. Personally dont want any of that extra stuff on it... put all the logos on the box if you want.

I wouldn't cry about a giant logo on the sunshade (if it comes with one). I never carry one hunting, but I usually do screw one on for recreational shooting.

A little extra brand visibility during competitions and range days, and a little less conspicuous when it really matters.

I like the idea of a S2H type abbreviated logo.

When I first heard of Shoot2Hunt I actually didn’t look it up for a while, I kinda figured, everything I need to know about the company is right there in the name. So less info makes me more curious. Now that I know who they are, I see it’s not just a rebranded PRS class or all prone all day “sniper” class marketed towards hunters. It’s much better than either of those things for what we actually do.

A short pamphlet included with the scope would be great. A little description of where it came from, how most scope companies don’t care about zero retention, explain 3 vs 10 shot groups, the Carl Ross drill, etc.
