Would you buy this scope?

Pretty sure they already talked about this. It was going to be the same scope body regardless if it was 12x,15x or 18x. Only different was the zoom dial would stop earlier on the lower mag scope
...for the available menu of erector/optics designs, yes.

After spending some time with the SWFA 6x, I'm now dreaming of something smaller -- and crazy light. Maybe a 4x28mm, or a 4.5x32mm.

I hunted with a B&L 4x32 all last season and found it completely useless at placing bullets through brush at any range or even determining antlers in a woods background under normal conditions at more than 100 yards. I also can’t see many contemporary hunters lining up to buy a 4x32 or similar. Not many folks hunting with ACOGs, as far as I can tell (although that is what I know and love for a combat optic).

9 oz...maybe like 11 with the piggieback 😅

5x, The mil reticle works decent. No dialing. Probably not ideal for ID in the woods. But ive shot to 400 with it (and a 3 gun match) and it was nice.

Seems to have held up. Not the greatest test, but i drove it to AZ, humped it up and down for 4 or 5 days strapped to a pack. Drove back to Texas. And smoked a Lil spike and a coyote at closer ranges. Need to check zero at 100 to confirm.

My goal was the lightest setup possible for sub 500 yard shots. Goal seems to be met....if it holds up.

If the SWFA 3-9 HD and Bushy LRTS 3-12 had a baby scope...that'd be "the one" for me.

Weight/size/FOV of SWFA, turret profile, zero stop and locking windage of Bushy...reticle a hybrid of both, thicker outer stadia like SWFA with G3 Bushy reticle....oh buddy

Hope you guys sell the 3-18 like hotcakes to fund the 3-12 lightweight

I’d actually kill for the turret profile and body of the SB Klassic.

The weird looks my SWFA turrets gets me in hunting camp make me agree. Also a slim form factor is undeniably better for hunting.
I've come to enjoy people looking askance at the SWFA goofy turrets - actually, it helps me differentiate who knows what from what.
They kinda do look like they came out of a blister pack
