Would you buy this scope?

I never had the issue with brass not ejecting or being interfered with on the couple T3Xs I’ve had using the 3-9 or 6X SWFA. If you did I agree that would be a big deal. It’s a non issue on my Barrett Fieldcraft with a 6X. I’m not a big fan of the 3-9 simply due to the eyepiece. Still have a couple 6Xs. I am absolutely looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I did. I don’t mind it, he was just asking how the new scope could be better than the SWFA and I was pointing out that a capped windage that didn’t cause that on a tikka would definitely be one way it could be better.

Considering the the windage caps on the new SWFAs keep brass from ejecting in my tikkas and the old ones don’t have zero stops it’s not real hard to beat them with a scope that holds zero.

Not that it’s something you would want to do I had this issue with a 3-15. Instead of moving the scope again I found some rubber chair caps that fit pretty snug with the turret off a bit of electrical tape it’s never tried coming off and I since I don’t dial wind age I have 0 issues with my homemade cap

Same here. I never had brass hit my windage turret on the 3-9 but capping it slimmed my setup by at least 1/4”.

Will not be a locking turret. A locking turret would compromise other aspects that are more important.

Sorry, I would not buy another 3-15x range scope.
I have a SWFA 3-15 and do not have it mounted to a rifle.

Requirements for me to buy:
1) increase mag to 5-20x or 25x.
2) run capped or locking windage.
Do not need windage change when pulling rifle out of scabbard.
I run Terminus actions, and do not have any Tikkas...

NX8?

For me, if I have use for that kind of X on the top end, the NF reticles offered in the NX8 are good enough; it's on the low end that they suffer, and it's why I don't run more of them.

Exposed elevation, capped windage. The numbers will be made for old people.

Seeing that I just had a lengthy convo with a good friend about the best turret magnifier, this could be the most important feature for me.
