Would a Bushnell The Truth Rangefinder be a sufficient enough rangefinder?

Using it for hunting 100 yds and in. Would it be good enough if I can get it for a good price or worth buying a newer rangefinder?

The bushnell i have works just fine but not something I would buy at full price given other options. It struggles a bit at the edges of dawn and dusk though. We have a bushnell outlet local to me and getting 50% off is a great motivator though.

Rangefinders are the quickest advancing optics category and if you have a budget to midrange rangefinder that’s more than 5 years old you will generally see a significant improvement with a newer unit at the same price point.

Honestly if 100 yards is all you are ranging what you have is likely adequate and most rangefinders will struggle in low light, fog, rain to some extent. Most rangefinders have gotten better at maximum ranging distance, ballistics, angle compensation and read out speed. If those don’t matter to you it probably doesn’t matter much.
