Wool socks

Dry feet are warm feet, don’t over do it with too heavy of socks. That said if your feet sweat foot powder or spray is an actual game changer.
Brands that work well for me are gold bond powder and Lotrimins athletes foot spray. The spray does need a second to fully dry. The powder I’ll dump in socks and wader boots.

Ive tried feet to farm, smart wool, and darn tough. I primarily buy darn tough because of the warranty but if the others can be found at a deal I don’t hesitate.

Those who use a liner what ones are you wearing? I have a 3rd season hunt this year, I wear uninsulated boots with darn tough 2012. I’m thinking about a liner and an extra cushion for this hunt.

I saw some smart wool socks the other day that were their full or maximum cushion socks that felt thicker to the touch than the darn tough mountaineering socks. I currently have the darn tough ones, but was curious if anyone has specifically tried the smart wool with the max cushion. I may pick up a pair for my hunt this year. Also, @Highvoltage1 I use the kenetrek ultimate liner sock. Seemed to work well but I never did a ton of research on the liner socks. I may try to see if there is a thinner liner sock or different material that may work better just to give it a try. My feet still got pretty cold on my last hunt, mainly while immobile, so I’m trying to find that perfect sock system for me.

I have had good luck with Fox River liners.

I don't think people should skimp when it comes to feet. But sock liners are not the thing to blow your budget on. Good boots and outer socks are the important thing.
