Anybody have any experience with Woodman's Rem700 clone bolt action muzzleloaders? I'm interested in getting a nice bolt action muzzleloader and looking at Woodman and Arrowhead. I've heard good things about Woodman muzzleloaders but mostly on their break action Patriot line.

I've not owned or handled a woodman but literally everything I have read says amazing things. Why a bolt gun over a patriot or a TC omega with a smokeless woodman barrel for nearly 1/3 the price? Just curious.

Great question, and I've looked into all those options. Honestly just interested in a bolt action for no particular reason other than I already have a break action muzzleloader. I started out thinking I'd go cheaper and still could, but it'd be a Remington/Clone action with a pre-fit barrel from either Arrowhead or Woodman. That'd be more expensive than say a Patriot G3 still but I'd love to get a bolt action for whatever reason.

I’ve got a knight bolt action and honestly it’s a pain to get the primers in and out of even after doing all the shimming. But it was cheap, and readily available, and shoots pretty dang good…there’s a gun show here this weekend I may hit up. I’ve still got the omega fever.
