Wood Carvers/Whittlers

Any whittlers or woodcarvers on here? Recently took it up as a cheaper hobby! Made two things so far a bird and a red chili pepper! Its been a cool learning process and I appreciate the required attention to detail. I need to get better about sharpening on ny strop but thats just me wanting to get these done as they’ve both been gifts. I’m pretty happy with how the paint and finish came out on the chili pepper. I’d love to see pieces from others on here, so please share!
