When I was a kid we were eating dinner at the picnic table on the deck when one of the barn cats jumped onto the table facing my dad. My dad reached out and grabbed it by the back with his hand closest to the tail. He then threw the cat off the deck. But when he threw it, the cat spun around and dug its claws into his arm as it was flying. My dad chased that cat around with the shotgun for the next hour.

A few weeks later the same cat jumped on the table again. This time my dad just punched it in the face and it fell off the table trying to find its balance. It curled up in the corner for quite some time, and then never jumped on the table again. So I would imagine some good punches or strangulation would work.

Would be cool if he killed it by hand, stick, rock, or other improvised weapon.

It doesn't say firearms are prohibited, or even that you cant carry one "concealed", just that you cant "discharge it", and can only "open carry" if heading directly to a hunting area with a hunting license. But still you cant "Discharge" the firearm.
But the fine is only $75.
