I have a lolo B tag for this upcoming fall. Had a scout trip planned but unfortunately due to a family thing, I think I will have to forgo the scout trip. Any advice on the hunting strategy? I've been told to drive at night and bugle, also been told to still hunt benches during the day. Too thick to glass?

My number one strategy when hunting elk or any animal. I call it the Madden approach. In order to kill the game you are hunting, you have to hunt where the game is.
You will never kill an elk if you are hunting areas that don’t have elk.
