I'm working on a "wish list" for my hunting gear and am good on most except for clothing. There's so many choices out there. For right now, I'm looking at a system for late fall and into early winter. So if you could just do one of each of pants, coat, mid-layer, base-layer, insulation, ect to cover the gammut from say in the 50's down to around the teens what would you go with? I guess, I'm asking what your first purchases would be to last a year or two before increasing your gear to include more specific times of the year.
Rain gear doesn't need to be included. I figure if I have some sort of shell and pants that at least have a dwr finish, I'll be alright for most of my hunting in MT for now.
