@robby denning reached out to me and asked if I would get a review going for Wiser Precision BA-7 Sparrow . The Rokslide support of Wiser Precision seems to have been great, the Ridge Warden earned a place with me last year, and the Sparrow has been a favorite for a handful of seasons.

While not a new product, it still remains innovative; what questions do you have about the Sparrow?

thanks for taking this on Kyle.

I didn't know about it.

how small of a barrel will it fit? 32mm?

(and it looks like Wiser will be putting up a few of this in the Cold Bow/Cold Bore)

Can you confirm whether it will fit on the sig Zulu 6 HDx? I have one on a pair of 8x32s, the trekking pole stabilization works well but not perfect, with a pair of Zulu 6s the trekking pole stabilization should be really good

Any comparison or thoughts on this vs the new On Glass product that is very similar?

I can’t really tell how the cinch systems differ (though they are definitely different). The On Glass is a touch cheaper, but the Wiser has a trekking pole notch.

Have you had any issues with it coming loose either partially or completely?
Not at all, they have been boringly reliable for me.

I'll make a trip somewhere and check some 30mm objectives. I don't see any reason they wouldn't work. Do you have a specific model in mind behind the question?

This monstrosity?
I will see if so can find one, but that might be the one design that it won't fit in standard form.

@Wiser Shane I'd imagine you are sourcing those straps in the USA, if someone needed a longer strap, is that possible for them to purchase?

My first thought is the Sparrow has a dyneema strap and is machined from aluminum. I have a guess as to which type of AL but need to confirm.

I don't see any call outs on the on-glass product. I don't have any other thoughts beyond that without having one in hand or seeing one in person.

That’s the one! Internets says it’ll fit but I haven’t found an actual review addressing it…

I'll do my best.

I'm in zip code 80465 if you want to do the leg work for me to find a pair in stock. I don't know anyone off the top of my head locally attached to Sig. @Jordan Budd do you know anyone in Denver that might have a set of these?
