Anyone have experience with these? There’s a bunch out there that work with MagSafe, seems pretty appealing to not have to pack cables.
There’s a 5000mAh on sale at home depot in Canada for $20 right now I’m going to try out.

Any other recommendations?

I think wireless charging is inherently less efficient than wired charging (more energy goes towards creating heat compared to wired charging). I think it’s overall reliable, but personally I wouldn’t use the wireless charging because I want maximum power from the bank going into my battery, not being wasted creating heat during the wireless charging.

I use Anker MagSafe wireless chargers, work pretty well. Agree with @stephane that they do generate heat and aren’t as efficient as a corded solution. If you put them in an enclosed area while charging for instance, your phone will shut off the charger and/or lock for temperature being too high. They do work in a pinch though. Definitely better than nothing!

Thanks for the opinions. I can see a place it would be more handy to have a wireless one. I’m going to pick one up and see how it is. I already have a pile of other ones if it turns out to be not great.
