Winter Pine Squirrel revenge

Now that we have snow and general season is winding down, it'll be time to exact revenge on the pine squirrels that barked all archery season. I like to snowshoe down closed roads and shoot with a 10/22. I'm thinking of taking my 20ga if I start missing.

Would they be good in dumplings?

Hard to say, but I doubt it. We experimented with them on a teenage camping trip, along with pika, and we preferred MREs, kippered snacks, and Van Camps pork and beans.

We have grey squirrels and fox squirrels. Each are delicious as long as they aren't feeding in the pines. Then they taste like pine sol!
