I'm in and my buddy c.rash too. We both have snow shoes. I can probably grab some extras from my unit if we need some.

2) I can grab 4 pairs of snowshoes.

I can see this hike plan going something like...leave Vallecito reservoir before dawn head up vallecito creek to rocky creek then up rocky creek over the pass and down rincon la ossa to the los pinos river then up the river to williams reservoir to camp. Next day reverse it .... Aron could do it but the rest of you are looking like the donner party.

I'am 100% positive I'd hang with every step with Aron. No donner party for me.

I've been talking to Aron about the trip, so if your going, don't worry about the distance. It won't be very far and we are probably going to bring two sleds to help out with weight if need be. Its not a marathon distance or sprint pace. Just gonna be a good time.

Actually the above track was my original hunt plan for Colorado first rifle when I had a friend who was going with me. That all fell through but I still thought it was a good plan for knowing absolutely nothing about elk hunting. I may still try it one day .
