Looking for a warm, light, wind resistant fleece. What are some good options? It doesn't have to be camo/hunting company.

Thanks for any info.

Haven't seen many that are wind resistant.
I have a scentlok fleece jacket that fits most of what you said. Its a little heavy and will burn you up if hiking.
Are you looking for a full zip or pull over?

I have a thread going on the 240, good info in there, No Idea on the fl but there is a recent thread on here about a preview of FL new stuff. I plan checking that too

My Sitka Traverse Cold Weather Hoody is very tight and thick so breathes but does a nice job of blocking wind during exertion. It is one of my favorite pieces. The Peleton 240 is outstanding but more of a windbreaker. It will tent up hiking. Also has no chest pocket or pit zips which I think they missed.

Maybe wind resistance wouldn't be needed. I just thought that would make it a little warmer. Was looking for something to layer over a merino when it's somewhat cold and under a puffy when it's really cold. I thought that would make a pretty versatile layering system. Can anyone recommend something for that purpose?

My go to for early to mid CO archery is a merino base, merino t, a Polartec 200 vest, and a puffy plus rain gear. I haven't found anything better for myself. I use the Kuiu Kenai puffy because it's synthetic and has a quiet exterior fabric.

That traverse sounds interesting. I haven't looked much at what Sitka offers for that purpose. I already have a peloton 200, but thought something a little heavier may work better?

I was in the same boat and went with the kuiu teton insulated jacket. It weighs about the same as a heavy fleece and I can wear it very comfortably under my puffy or soft shell or rain shell.
I would have gone with the kenai but its features were redundant with my guide jacket. Neither the kenai or teton will provide great wind resistance but you won't find anything that warm for the weight and that quiet.

Something made with Polartec Wind Pro...pretty sure I bought mine on Cabela's. Love it. It's my go-to vest. If weight was a factor, I might go down, but also more noisy (depending on what type of hunting you are doing).

check out Eddie Bauer They have some great sales this time of year.I have one of their fleece jackets that meet all your requirements

The 240 isn't any thicker than the Peloton 200 but does have a different fit (better for me) and blocks the wind really well. I have had my eye on the sitka traverse cold weather hoody but that is a much thicker and HEAVIER piece.

I've had a Mountain Hardwear Windstopper fleece for some time. It's not super warm on it's own but paired with a good zip t and vest it's great for active cold weather hunting. My ideal piece would be a First Lite Labrador sweater with front pockets and a cocona layer to block wind.

Certainly not light, but hands down the best wind protective fleece I own is the TAD Gear Ranger Hoody. Beefy polartec wind pro fleece, great pockets, fit and hood. I've used it all over the planet, and still use it around town and while sitting still predator hunting....but there are better options for active use.

You might look into various 'hard faced fleece' jackets. They have a tighter knit/weave on the outside which makes them very durable and helps block some wind.

I have a kuiu guide jacket which may fit the bill. It's not real warm, but would probably be fine while moving.

Thanks for everyone's input. Great info.

I had a Marmot 700 goose fill down jacket that I replaced with the Kuiu guide and teton insulated jackets. Worn ogether the kuiu if as warm as the marmot but is tougher against brush and mor versatile with the pit zips and a lot quieter.
