I recently read the scope mounting to maintain zero thread:
I decided to give it a go earlier today.
Here are the results..
I torqued the ring caps to spec, but, as seen in photos 2 and 3, there is a noticeable gap between forward ring caps on the side opposite the bolt handle.
I’d imagine this will effect performance and ability to maintain zero.
Any ideas on where I could have gone amiss?
