Does it fit? I see on some websites it says that it might require some modifications.

I read about figment issues with the Williams front peep on accuras as well. I went with a lyman 17 front peep hood, marbles sight ramp in the proper size for my barrel diameter, and Lee shaver inserts. Excellent setup.

The CVA/williams rear peep that comes with these rifles has an aperture that’s too small. I removed it and run the rear sight without an aperture screwed in. I get a great sight picture with a small ring of light between the front and rear peeps.

I just put a Williams peep on a Acura MRX.
I read the same thing about fitment issues, but mine fit perfectly, no modifications needed.

Wait, I thought you were a muzzleloader hater? ;) I have the regular accura v2 and mine works… though I had to put the front peep on a lower mount, original mount was so high that the peep was half way off the back of the ramp

By far my least favorite weapon but I’d still take a tag!

I can agree with you on that, I have a love hate relationship with mine… cost me what should have been my second largest bull… but I like it when I’m time limited during Sept

I have the LRX and it fit with no modification needed. There is a slight gap between the top of the barrel and the front sight but doesn't seem to cause any issues.

Same here. I just roughed up the front sight and bedded it to the barrel and it hasn’t moved at all in 2.5 years.

On my optima and accura I have the williams front globe on both (get the one intended for fiber optic, it has light holes milled in but still can take reticle inserts) and then a rear rail / peep combo. That setup provides a longer sight radius but also more vertical adjustment to the rear peep. Both Williams and Eabco make a rail like that.

I have one on my mrx. Theres a very small gap on the front globe and the barrel as noted above, but it works fine. Havent tried the reticle yet but am going to order some soon. Put a perfect shot on my bull at 30 yards last year with just the fiber optic.

Im 2 for 2 on ML bulls, but I would recommend nobody gets a ml or archery tag. 4th rifle is really the only way to go. That way you can scout all of october and leave the poor elk alone while I am trying to harass them.
