The author dislikes the Creed, but with the same bullets, the creed wins on velocity.

I didn't even intend to get into velocity. I'm just saying that whatever speed you want to push either to, the .243 takes more powder and makes more recoil, to do it. And even then the differences are pretty meaningless.
