Between cartridges? Or shooting 22cm, taking the barrel off, then putting it back on?
If the latter I say no change![]()
It’s cool how those groups are basically same overall size from 4 different barrels. Looks like all of them are shootersRESULTS
I never got what I felt was a good set up until today. I was always swapping too many things when Ingad to go.
Today, I test fired 10 rounds out of 4 identical Preferred Barrel Blank 22 Creedmoor 18”. The first group had 5 on another target board. We had a cease fire so I put up a new one for the other five.
All I did was swap the barrel while the action was in the chassis and the scope on the action. I torqued to 80 ft lb, while I normally torque barrels actions to 100.
I will measure it out later and pick a winner.
I didn’t have the first round flyer like I have when I am pulling it out of the chassis. I found that interesting.

Definitely shooters. This is a random load I threw with two different Frankford Arsenal powder throwers as I loaded blem 80 gr ELDm in new brass. I have velocity data I will publish as well from them. It’s cool how those groups are basically same overall size from 4 different barrels. Looks like all of them are shooters
Lol, I think we are close! I have 4 moa on page 1.I am feeling good at 4” center to center.
I am going to do the average shift and total shift. Compiling the information later today.Looks like 3 out of the 4 barrels had roughly a 2” shift from each other, while 1 was roughly double that. The way I interpret that, it says you’re likely to have a +\- .6 mil shift from barrel to barrel, but could be as much as 1.2mil. I have only tried on a couple but I had just under a .5mil shift with oem tikka barrels, which sort of jives with that.
Are you averaging these, or?
