Will guns ever become ‘worthless’?

Is A firearm worth dying for probably not. Is the right to keep and bears arms for the general citizens worth it...how is it not?
For anyone who put on the US military uniform, how is this even a question. For those that didn't, I know a lot would still say the same.

There would be plenty of folks who would stand a line and still cry out:

give me liberty or give me death.

When we run out of places to shoot them, hunting and ranges. Yes in time I think that will happen. Before that, if they make the ammunition unobtainable.

It seems the path we are trending on seems to indicate some changes in gun ownership.

With that, will guns ever become ‘worthless’?

I am a gun owner. Some newer, many old. Will they ever become not worth anything?

Yes, they will not become worthless.

Up here in the islands of SE AK I perceive my firearms and comprehensive reloading kit as a means of food security. My 22 mag for procuring small game and fowl is just as important as my repeating arms I suppose.

About the time all the ammo is used up and its no longer being made...then yes..."maybe'" they'll become worthless

From my experience trying to sell a Bergara Premier, and seeing others deal with the same here and SH, some guns already are lol.

They will always be worth a premium on the black market.
Probably true. Ammo and reloading components even more so, I imagine.

Just think how it will look if Uncle Sugar succeeds in stopping illegal ammo from crossing the southern border after decades of saying illegal drugs and immigrants couldn’t be stopped.

Yes, guns especially high end rifles are becoming rapidly worthless. Probably won't be good for anything but firewood in the next few years. Im willing to risk it though. If you guys have any soon to be worthless older Winchester or Remington that are in good shape, I'm willing to take the loss and buy them off you for pennies on the dollar. Newer Tikka and other New mountain rifles as well as nice stainless synthetics also strongly considered. Save yourselves the financial embarrassment. Im a team player and just want to help you guys out.

Ammo is whats needed.
I took all my firearms and ammo to my parents for more security when my long time GF and I split up. I moved into a small apt and spent my time working long days. Mom and dad are retired and I felt better knowing the guns were safer there.
Anyway, I've started bringing a few things home with me, mostly the ammo. Visiting last week my dad said I still had ammo stored in the basement. Apparently I didn't get it all. I found about 20 boxes of .45/70, 6 boxes of .270 and few 6.5 CM, Few hundred rounds of 9mm and some .22
I always try and pick up a box of something when I stop by any gun shop, this trip was no different. I thought I only had a few boxes of .45/70 so I coughed up $52.00 to buy a box of Winchester grey box ammo.
Those boxes in storage, the prices on them? $25.00 to $31.00 a box.
