Working on my first wildcat design, and I'm curios is anyone who has experience in this are has any wisdom on reducing body taper from the parent case.
The parent case im using has around 0.012 body taper per inch, After reading some Zeglin and PO ackley books, I see that Ackley recommended 0.0075 as a minimum requirement for a good feeding cartridge.
Would it be advantageous for me to reduce the taper in my case design or just continue on with the established taper.
The case is already pretty fat at the shoulder datum. Its a modern parent case. But if I can get more horsepower behind it why not? Unless there are some downfalls im not aware of?
Thoughts?
