I'm in SW Missouri and very interested in harvesting some bacon. Ideally, I'd like to find a place to hunt at night. I have access to a clip on Gen2+ night vision scope and a basic thermal scouting scope and I'd be happy to share toys. Working professional, but I love being outside and butchering my own meat. PM if you're interested and let's put some piggy in the freezer.

the buffalo has pigs but the night thing will not fly.

Yep, it seems like there are a few states in the south that allow it and mostly on private land. Either that or pay $600 for a guided night hunt. Looking for a DIY option if there's any interest out there.

heck we can kill them from heli down here, I might be willing to let you do some nighttime, my pigs are coming in around 12 right now got about 30 on feeders

We did Shiloh ranch out in OK it was a great week took 7 pigs out of there and the accommodations were fantastic. Matt and Cheryl were great hosts and even come out to pick up your pig once it's down.

Wow, nice one!

Is night hunting pigs not legal here in MO?

From what I've read, I don't think so.

“Artificial Lights may be used only to hunt bullfrogs and green frogs, or to hunt raccoons and other furbearing animals when treed with the aid of dogs. Using lights or any other night vision or thermal imagery equipment to search for, spot, illuminate, harass or disturb other wildlife is a violation of the Wildlife Code. This rule does not apply to landowners on their property.”

Yeah we will do just about anything to rid ourselves of hogs in Texas:

Not me or anyone I know, just a cool video showing the lengths we go through to get rid of these suckers. Same with coyotes and in my opinion the only way to control wolves - never ending seasons and unlimited bag limits with wide open methods of kill.
