Wild boar in Italy

Ok, I've decided that maybe cinghiale (wild boar) hunting in Italia might be a better fit (cost, etc).

A few questions, please:

1. Season? I have found answers that range from a couple of winter months to year around. We would be there is June. Anyone know the season?
2. Any outfitter suggestions would be great.
3. Any other tips?

I lived outside of Perugia for a bit 25 years ago. It was popular hunting boars in Perugia, Todi and the rural towns near by. Beautiful country. We didn’t get to hunt when I was there, but this is where I would start looking.
