Wide boots.

I would reach out to Lathrop and Sons if you are looking for a heavier boot. They have a MTN Hunter wide and a newer super wide boot if you are looking for a heavy duty boot. Great guys to work with and the build quality is excellent. I wish they had the super side when I bought mine as that extra width would have really made them the perfect heavy boot. For Crispi I use the Lapponia 3 which is wide enough for me and due to the supple material feels wider than it is. I also would look at the Idaho 3 as they are supposed to have a similar last and with synthetic maybe a little more forgiving in the forefoot.

My opinion is If you can fit into Crispi boots you do not actually have wide feet. Looking very hard at the L&S super wides, except the price is a deterrent atm. Have to think about it for a moment.

Older thread... but I wear a 13 4E (extra extra wide with very wide forefoot / toe box) and Crispi is a no go, Keens are good but don't last, I had whites but they had weird ankle fitment...

Leaning toward Hoffman as I own a pair of their pacs already. Any other brands I should be looking at? There's a lot of non-answers here. Please only reply if you actually have wide feet.
We make a boot considered to be a 4E, we call it a Superwide... Call me if you would like to talk about the fit...

Well I would say the brannock device would disagree with you as my forefoot measures EE. You may be taking into consideration overall foot shape in your assessment, however I am definitely a EE in width on every measuring device and 3d scanner I have been on. There are many other fit considerations that determine what will work or not- forefoot width, shape, height. Arch shape/height as well as how your heel is shaped. All will play a mixed role in determining fit. Similarly what footbed / sock combination you choose. It’s not just a bucket determination if someone thinks they are a wide as they may be wide in width measurement but narrower, shorter, skinnier in other areas or the opposite. It all has to work together to get the right fit for your individual foot. Imagine a guy with Fred flintstone looking feet might measure a EE same as I do but his foot looks far different than mine in every other area. If the Mtn Hunter boot is the type of boot you are looking for you cant go wrong talking to Steven and James at Lathrop and Sons.
